Voyages to Vietnam
I don't know where I was when it was released or how I missed it, but it was by chance that Roger Downton mentioned it to me when I dropped in to see him. This coffee table size book along with its sister publication "My Vietnam" are wonderfully produced and one excellent read.
With contributions by Roger Downton, Kevin Foale, Doug Drysdale, Jim Hawkins, Reg Howden and Daryll Mansell, just to name a few band contributors and 141 other contributors , covers a pictorial history of the Naval involvement of the Vietnam war. Compiled and written by Stephen Lewis with design by Julie Jensen, the pictures literary jump out at you with stunning clarity and this was achieved by the work of Catherine Thomson and Rick Hurren.
The descriptions against each photo are excellent in their detail and are a great resource of where the photo was taken, by who and when. I can't recommend this publication enough to those that were there or anybody that is interested in Naval and Band history for that period.

This book is just as intriging to read as the "Voyages to Vietnam" and has over 600 photo's and stories. You can buy them separately or take up the special price for the two.
