The selection on this record again reflects the bands versatlity with marches on side 1 and as the cover notes say, toe-tapping tunes that are indicative to the navy's modern outlook in regard to music as well as with ships and training. The cover also states that it was made and printed in Great Britian under the REGAL Label.

Each of he marches on Side 1 have been recorded at a marching tempo of 120 paces per minute, while the band's drum corps carries the beat across the dividing tracks to allow an uninterrupted marching programme throughout the side.
