Family and friends celebrated the life of Donald Robert Toovey on Friday the 13th of of December at the Garden Chapel of the Albany Creek Memorial. John Lennon represented the association and said a large turnout paid tribute to Don.

 

Don will be remembered by his devoted wife Marie, Children Don, Bruce and Belinda. He was known as poppy to Kyle, Jonathon and Bruce Jnr. He will be remembered by all his ex-bandie mates who served with him.
